CHS Birmingham have announced its 2022 speaker programme, specifically targeted at the individual, as the organisers look to continue their commitment to the personal and professional growth of every delegate coming to the event, 1 st November, ICC Birmingham.
The programme is split into two sections, ‘Personal’ and ‘Professional’ with Ken Kelling, A Sense of Purpose’ running a three-part workshop, throughout the day, entitled ‘Personal Growth: a continuous journey’. Ken is an Events and PR veteran who became an Executive Life Coach eight years ago. A regular motivational and insight led speaker, Ken has a special interest in positive psychology and works with many coaching clients from the events industry. The workshops are designed to be enjoyed as a three or on an individual basis, allowing visitors at least some time thinking about themselves during the event.
(Also at CHS Birmingham, The Hub and Conference News will be launching the results of their joint salary survey. The survey, which is being collected over the summer, will share expectations and realities of pay within the events industry and will include a panel, led by Conference News Editor Martin Fullard, discussing the results.)
The programme will also include advice on managing your own personal brand with Max Fellows, from allpoints group, and a session discussing ‘Qualifications or Attitude’ when it comes to recruitment, led by Sian Sayward from Inntel and featuring Juliet Tripp, Make Events, Andrew Ward, Make Venues and Joanne Barrett, The Venues Collection. Finally, Nyomi Rose, event planner, influencer, blogger and social media specialist will be sharing her thoughts on how to build a modern-day career in 2023.
“We’re really proud of the educational programme we’ve put together for our visitors this year,” commented Lou Hindley, Commercial Director, CHS Birmingham. “We asked them what they want from our show and there is an overwhelming desire for personal and professional development. This is a programme that delivers on this demand in spades.” CHS Birmingham will return to the ICC Birmingham, 1 st November bringing together the best of Birmingham’s business events community. The show continues with its strategic partnership with The Birmingham and West Midlands Convention Bureau and Founding Partner, the ICC Birmingham.
