Joanna is an event and hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience of the sector, both in the UK and overseas.
Before joining the Victory Services Club (VSC) in 2018, Joanna was the Sales and Events Manager at Sydney Town Hall and Customs House, a heritage listed venue in the centre of Sydney, Australia. Before that she worked as a General Manager for Compass Group UK and Ireland.
Since joining VSC, Joanna and her team have won several prestigious industry awards including the CHS Awards Best Independent Venue 2019, the mia Team of the Year Award 2019, the Hospitality Assured Commitment to Excellence 2021 award and she also secured a place on the prestigious mia List 2020.
Joanna is a positive, confident and energetic member of the events industry and is keen to speak on panels to discuss issues involving sales, marketing, employment, venue innovation and team motivation. Her passion and commitment have delivered record sales levels for the VSC; she is responsible for building strong internal and external relationships and for driving the VSC’s event business back to pre-Covid levels.
Joanna lives in South West London and when she isn’t working, you’ll find her having fun with her two pre-teen daughters, keeping active and eating great culinary delights!
